Learning Objectives:

• Provide an overview of the historic development and safety considerations of body iMRI.
• List the devices and pulse sequences currently used in body iMRI.
• Describe current applications of body iMRI, including localization, biopsy of lesions with poor soft-tissue contrast at other imaging modalities, and thermal ablation of benign and malignant neoplasms.
