- Describe formally adopted codes of ethics from relevant organizations applicable to radiologists.
- Use formally adopted codes of ethics to help recognize and analyze potential ethical conflicts of interest.
- Recognize and assess professional and ethical issues that occur when commercial business methods are applied to the practice of medicine.
- Recognize and describe how personal and family interests find their way into the professional workplace and cause conflicts of interest.
- Discuss how conflicts arise when physicians are offered and receive financial incentives from industry and commerce, and how those conflicts might be mitigated.
