Learning Objectives:

• Generate a differential diagnosis for mediastinal tumors in children on the basis of the ITMIG classification of mediastinal compartments.
• Describe the imaging characteristics of the most common mediastinal tumors in children on the basis of the pathologic features.
• Identify key immunohistochemical findings, genetic markers, and histologic features that enable the differentiation of pediatric mediastinal tumors that appear similar on images.
