Refresher Courses are sessions captured at past RSNA Annual Meetings focusing on themes of health care reform, payment models, research and innovation, patient-centered radiology, and advances in the different imaging modalities. Refresher Courses are targeted to diagnostic, interventional and oncologic radiologists and are designed to improve knowledge and competence in responding to the challenges and advancements in the field of radiology.

• Describe a systematic approach to classify inflammatory and degenerative arthropathies.
• Identify pitfalls in interpreting imaging studies obtained in inflammatory arthropathies.
• Describe imaging findings in spondylarthropathies with a focus on MRI.
• Develop cartilage mapping protocols that can be implemented in clinical practice.

• Evaluate advanced imaging-based biomarkers for diagnosis and risk assessment for OA outcomes.
• List the MRI-based anatomical imaging techniques for cartilage imaging.
• Describe novel CT imaging techniques for OA imaging and their potential role in routine clinical practice.
