Description
Sponsored by:
Healthcare is producing more and more data designed to reveal important information about our patients’ health but that has created challenges in accessing the data and gleaning the most useful insights. With even more data likely to be available in the future, it is necessary to consider not only how radiologists will access it, but how they will be able to use it. Current IT systems exist to help manage images within departments, across the enterprise, and now from clinicians’ homes but accessing the data remains a key concern for most radiologists. Once they access it, the challenge turns to harnessing that data quickly and comprehensively so that the insights available can be converted into actionable information for clinicians. By looking at what is and isn’t working today as well as what is on the horizon, the panel will discuss points that need to be considered to help the field progress forward and adapt to future challenges.
