Description
This course is not available for CME credit. In this course, the basics of personal behavior, peer review, and contract negotiations with employers are explored. Focusing on the onus of personal responsibility, this course provides a solid basis for understanding the concepts of courtesy, unwavering honesty, and personal responsibility in the workplace, with several included real-life case scenarios to illustrate these concepts. In addition, focus is given to the peer review process, highlighting the importance of peer review in preventing workplace bias and using peer review to promote effectiveness in practice. This course also explores the basics of negotiations with employers, focusing on ambiguous ethical situations that may present an ethical challenge when accepting a new position. A variety of contract negotiation scenarios accompany this information, providing real-life context for the challenges faced in contract negotiations.
