Course Overview

This module is the third in a series about how radiology educators can modify their residency training to prepare radiology students for the returning ABR Diagnostic Radiology Oral Exam that will be launched in 2028. In this module, from lectures presented by Dr. Francis Deng, MD, Dr. Shanna Matalon, MD, Dr. Paul Bunch, MD, MS, and Dr. Roger Bartolotta, MD, along with supplementary resources, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of best practices for teaching observation, communication, and critical thinking skills into trainee education; assessment tools to evaluate residents progress in their preparedness for the oral board exam; technology and online resources to enhance learning experiences; and learner-centered teaching techniques to improve the effectiveness of workstation teaching.
