Imaging in pregnancy extends beyond just looking at the fetus. This review course is specifically designed to look beyond the fetus and address many conditions that face the radiologist when a pregnant woman presents with bleeding, pain, or an adnexal mass. It will include a multi-modality approach with ultrasound, CT and MRI, highlighting appropriate use of each modality. There will be an emphasis on the unique challenges of both diagnosis and management in pregnancy. Specific topics to be covered include vasa previa, the acute abdomen, diagnosis and management of malignancy, and placenta accreta spectrum; all don’t miss diagnoses.
