Description
This course is not available for CME credit. This course presents contemporary principles for medical professionals with targeted ethical scenarios providing a real-life basis for the application of ethical behavior in the medical profession. A detailed explanation of the hallmarks of a professional, including topics surrounding ethical behaviors in medical professions and how they have evolved over time are presented. Examination of various medical codes throughout history, including the Hippocratic Oath, Declaration of Geneva, and AMA Code of Ethics is provided. The ACR Code of Ethics and the AAPM Code of Ethics are presented with examples of currently accepted ethical code frameworks that can be adapted into your practice.
