This course is not available for CME credit. This course is intended to familiarize healthcare professionals with the principles of ethical relationships with vendors, the ethical underpinnings of financial conflicts of interest in such relationships, and codes of conduct established by government, institutions, and professional organizations to guide appropriate and professional conduct. Additionally, the course will include guidelines for ethical conduct when dealing with vendor-sponsored research, conflict of interest, and public disclosure of financial relationships with vendors. This course examines the “rules of the road” governing proper relationships between industry and radiologists, radiation oncologists and non-physician researchers, and hospitals and professional organizations.
